Who Covers Who In The River Valley Conference?

TIPTON — With the annual Iowa Newspaper Association’s 2016 Better Newspaper Contest in the books, I was thinking about something.  Do our readers know where we at the Conservative stack up in size with other newspapers that cover the RVC?  Have you ever wondered how big the newspapers that cover the River Valley Conference are in general? Well, here you go.  

I have broken them down by weekly and daily newspapers along with the schools in the RVC that are covered by each paper.  I have also included the circulation numbers for each newspaper, taken from the Iowa Newspaper Association's website.

I bring this up, because at last night's banquet, most of these newspapers won a statewide award.  It's our state tournament of sorts and just as the RVC proves it can hang with the state's best athletes and teams, the RVC media proved once again, that we can hang with the state's best media coverage of high school athletics.
