Indians offense too much for Knights in districts

CAMANCHE — The North Cedar Knights had a tough time with one of the top scoring

home floor. The Indians will play Northeast Goose Lake in a 2A District final on Tuesday,
with the winner advancing to to a class 2A substate Saturday in Muscatine against the winner of West Branch-Tipton who play in the other district final.
The Indians led 20 to 12 after the first quarter, but Camanche really broke the game open in the second quarter, outscoring North Cedar 27 to 12 in the second quarter to take a 47-24 halftime lead.
North Cedar tried to rally, not wanting their season to end, outscoring the Indians 21 to 18 to set the score at 65-45 after three quarters. Camanche then outscored North Cedar 23 to 14 in the final quarter to take the 88-59 win.
Logan Minar led North Cedar in scoring with 17 points and rebounding with 9 points.
