Tigers Open 3A Postseason Saturday At Mt. Vernon

TIPTON — The Tipton Tigers will begin their trek on the postseason tournament trail this Saturday at Mt. Vernon.  The Tigers have not played the Mustangs since they, along with Solon, Clear Creek-Amana and Williamsburg joined the WaMaC conference.

The Tigers will look to get off to a good start in their first round game Saturday.
“We want to give ourselves a chance.  Getting out to a good start will be important in the game,” said Tipton girl’s basketball coach Chad Rezac.
The Tigers season is one that they did not anticipate, but, over the last five basketball games one could argue that the Tigers are playing their best basketball of the season.
