2018 Spring Preview: Wildcats excited to See What 2018 Offers

DURANT — The Durant girl’s track and field team has a nice mix of athletes this year. The Wildcats have 25 on their roster for longtime coach Doug Frett. Having the higher numbers gives the Wildcats options this season. Durant placed 11th at the River Valley Conference meet and were led by a pair of top-10 Autumn Wolf finishes. The Wildcats had two relay events at the RVC meet to place sixth. Some of the athletes back from those relays are Breanna Moeller, Amorae Myers, Tori Novinski, Heidi Wolf and Ellie Berry.

This year holds a lot of promise and opportunity for the Wildcats. Those out this season are Savanna Storm, Kayla Erbst, Kyrnan Liske-Rochholz, Eliana Berry, Kaitlyn Wiese, Heidi Wolf, Addisyn Skinner, Aubreauna Ryan, Amorae Myers, Aubrey Doerscher, Caitlin Bucksbaum, Victoria Novinski, Kayley Latham, Allie Peel, Lillian Nielsen, Chelsea Alderman, Morgan Mital, Madison Semsch, Breanna Moeller, Rayne Mangels, Brittany Kahl, Jordyn Ostrand, Kerrigan Johnson, Elizabeth Wurzer and Emily Seligman.

The Wildcats will host a home meet twice this spring. The first is on Tuesday, April 17 and later in the week on Friday, April 20.
