NC, Durant at Dickinson

CEDAR FALLS — The North Cedar and Durant’s girl’s track and field team ran at the Dickinson Relays indoor meet on March 6. Darby Hawtrey had the top North Cedar finish with a 3rd place finish in the high jump. Hawtrey had a best jump of 5-feet, 2 inches. Hawtrey also turned in the Knights top individual finish with a 55th place finish in the 200-meter dash in 29.13.
North Cedar’s top relay finish was a 24th place finish in the 4X800-meter relay.
Autumn Wolf placed 27th in the long jump with a best jump of 15-04. Wolf also had the top individual finish for the Wildcats. Wolf placed 43rd in the 400-meter dash in 1:06.92.
The top Wildcats relay finish came from their 4X200-meter relay in 49th place.

Wildcats Compete At Dickinson Relays
  CEDAR FALLS — The Durant Wildcat boy’s track team competed at the Dickinson Relays on March 7. There, it was the first time on the oval this season for the Wildcats among state wide track teams.
  Nathan Prunchak led Durant with the Wildcat’s top finish in the 400-meter dash in 1:00.74 and a top finish in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:24.91. Cale Frett had the top Wildcat finish in the field events, in the shot put, with a throw of 33-feet, 3-inches.

CEDAR FALLS — The North Cedar Knights ran at two indoor meets recently. North Cedar ran at the Iowa State indoor meet on March 14 and at the UNI, Dickinson Relays on March 7.
