DES MOINES — The River Valley Conference started the season with five teams ranked in the preseason Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union’s top-15 poll in classes 3A and 2A, and after a week of games, five still remain ranked.
In class 2A, the top-7 teams remained the same including two RVC teams in 2nd ranked Iowa City Regina and #6 West Branch.  Unity Christian remains the top-ranked team in 2A.
