Preseason Rankings are Out For New Season

DES MOINES — Two Tipton Tigers and a handful of other area wrestlers begin the 2016-17 season ranked in class 1A by the website IAwrestle.com.  The duo of Tigers are junior Ben Emrich and sophomore John Crowley.  Emrich reached the 2016 State Tournament while Crowley had a solid season.  Emrich is ranked 3rd at 113 and Crowley is ranked 7th at 106.

Wilton had two wrestlers ranked at their respective weight classes.  District qualifiers Trey Brisker and Bryce Oveson each are ranked.  Brisker begins the season ranked second at 145 while Oveson is ranked 5th at 182.
