North Cedar Baseball Story

West Branch won their third game of the season and topped 10 or more runs for the first time this season in eight games. Tanner Lukavsky was the winning pitcher after five innings of work. He struck out 11 North Cedar batters and walked three. Pete Espensen pitched two innings in relief.


West Branch was led at the plate by four players with multi-hit games. Brady Lukavsky, Tanner Lukavsky and Matt Paulsen each had three hits in the game. Pete Espensen also had two hits. Espensen had 4 RBI’s, Paulsen had 3 RBI’s and Mitchell Knoop and Brady Lukavsky each had 2 RBI’s.
