Knights 6th at Tigerette

TIPTON — The North Cedar girls golf team placed 6th at the annual Tipton Ti- gerette Classic last Thursday, May 2 at the Tipton golf and country club. There, the Knights shot a team score of 447, three strokes behind 5th place Solon and ve strokes behind 4th place West Branch. The host Tigers won the meet with a team score of 383. Tipton had the top-2 indi- vidual nishers in medalist Allie Nash and medalist runner-up Alex Ho man. Nash had a score of 87 and Ho man 91.
North Cedar was led by Lydia Esbaum with a score of 102 and Parker Stout with a score of 103. Other North Cedar scores were Carly Meier 113, Macy Helmold 129, and Katie Jackson 139.
