TIPTON — The junior varsity boy’s basketball team used a big fourth quarter to overcome a 6-point deficit, outscoring North Cedar 19-8 to claim a 41-36 victory.
The win avenged an earlier season loss to the Knights and evened the boys record to 8-8 on the season with five games remaining.
Conner Hermiston scored eight of his game high 18 points in the decisive fourth quarter, while Colby Kleppe had five of his eight points and several crucial steals in the final frame as well. Nile Schuett led all rebounders with seven, while Kaden Rezac chipped in with three steals and two assists.
