MONTICELLO — The Durant Wildcat boy’s basketball team knocked off Monticello on the road last Friday 64-45 in a mild upset. The Wildcats trialed 16-11 after the first quarter, but used a 17-5 run to get back in the game by halftime.

Kylie Kay reached double figures, scoring 11 points and grabbing 4 rebounds. Kamryn Meyer and
Hannah Happ each had 4 points while Lauren Ralfs scored 2 points and Annie Taylor 1-point.

Durant fell to 1-19 overall and will host NE Goose Lake Friday for senior night and their regular
season finale. The Wildcats will look to snap a 3-game losing streak before heading to the postseason. Durant will travel to North Cedar on Saturday February 10 in first round class 2A Regional action.
