Tigers Win In Fairfield, 7 win an Individual Event

  FAIRFIELD — The Tipton swimming team improved to 6-1 in seven duals this season after winning in Fairfield last Monday, September 24. There, the Tigers beat the Trojans 103 to 54. Seven different Tipton swimmers won at least one individual event at the meet. The Tigers also won all three relay events at the meet.

  Winning individual events were Sara Webb, Zoe Stonebraker, Britney Ford, Rhyan Hoelfer, Kayley Clark, Maddie Swick and Ali Anderson. Clark and Webb got their first wins in an individual event this year.

  Three Tigers won four events at the meet in junior Ali Anderson, sophomore Maddie Swick and freshman Rhyan Hoefler. Sophomore Zoe Stonebraker won three events and junior Britney Ford won three events as well.

  The Tigers won three different relays. The Tigers won the 200-yard medley relay with the team of Ali Anderson, Britney Ford, Maddie Swick, and Rhyan Hoefler were first in a time of 2:03.82. The Tigers 200-yard freestyle relay team of Rhyan Hoefler, Ali Anderson, Zoe Stonebraker, and Maddie Swick won the event in a time of 1:52.56. The Tigers 400-yard freestyle relay team of Zoe Stonebraker, Ali Anderson, Maddie Swick, and Rhyan Hoefler won the event of 4:10.87.

  Sara Webb won the 200-yard freestyle, Stonebraker won the 200-yard IM, Ford won both the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard breaststroke, Hoefler won the 100-yard butterfly, Anderson won the 100-yard freestyle, Kayley Clark won the 500-yard freestyle, and Maddie Swick won the 100-yard backstroke.
