The Tigers won all three relay events at the meet setting new season best times in each event.
The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Rhyan Hoefler, Ali Anderson, Maddie Swick, Zoe Stonebraker won the event in a time of 4:00.66. Their previous best was 4:03.53. The 200-yard medley relay team of Anderson, Britney Ford, Swick, and Stonebraker won the event in a time of 1:59.20. Their previous best was 2:00.93. The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Stonebraker, Hoefler, Anderson, and Swick won the event in a time of 1:48.07. Their previous best was 1:48.27.
Rhyan Hoefler won two individual events, the 500-yard freestyle and the 200-yard IM. Hoefler won the 500-free in 5:43.78, nearly eight seconds ahead of the runner-up in the event. Hoefler won the 200-yard IM in 2:25.54, a little over a full second in front of the runner-up. Zoe Stonebraker set a season best time in the 50-yard freestyle winning the event in 26.88. Her previous best was 27.25. Maddie Swick collected the other THS win in the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 1:03.33.
Seniors Britney Ford and Sara Webb each collected two top-10 finishes. Ford was third in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:19.16 and sixth in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:05.95. Webb was sixth in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:13.87 and eighth in the 200-yard individual medley event in 2:45.81.
Kayley Clark picked up two season best times. Clark placed third in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 6:30.17, shaving off nearly 15 seconds from her best time of 6:44.57 earlier last week. Clark also placed 6th in the 200-yard freestyle in a season best time of 2:28.55. Ali Anderson placed third in the 100-yard backstroke in a season best time of 1:09.04 and Hannah Tucker placed 26th in the 50-yard freestyle in a season best time of 36.03.
The Tigers are back in the pool three times in a weeks time, starting this Saturday when they swim at the Clinton Invitational. The Tigers travel to Williamsburg on Monday, September 16 and then to Linn-Mar on Thursday, September 19.
