PRESTON — The Wilton volleyball team began the 2019 season 5-0 after winning all ve matches at the Easton Valley Tournament last Saturday. The Beavers began the season ranked No. 7 in Class 2A. The Beavers have two seniors and a junior on the team and the rest are freshmen and sophomores.
Wilton beat Cedar Valley Valley 21-14, 21-13. Wilton also Christian, Ed-Co, Bellevue beat Bellevue by twin scores of Marquette, Easton Valley, and 21-11. Bellevue. The Beavers beat Ce- The Beavers begin River Valley dar Valley Christian by scores Conference play this Thursday of 21-14 and 21-6. Wilton beat Ed-Co by scores of 21-19, 21-8. Wilton beat Bellevue Marquette in three sets, 19-21, 21-10, and 15-3. The Beavers beat Easton at West Branch. Wilton is back in action Tuesday night, September 3 at the Wapello Tournament.
